Claire Patchell is a Canadian Pop artist pouring the mess of early adulthood into her song writing. She combines confessional storytelling with a polished pop production. Claire writes from the space between independence and uncertainty, capturing her experiences with love, loss and self identity. 

Still in the early stages of her career, Claire has already begun building a catalogue that showcases both her vulnerability and confidence. Her debut single, Not Waiting (2024), introduced her knack for honest lyricism and memorable melodies, while her latest release (Out Of Commission the EP) expanded her sound and further explored her intimate lyricism. and she will be leaning into the more acoustic pop style of her single forbidden fruit (2025) with her next single Lotus Flower (to be released fall of 2026).

As a performer Claire is an active member of the Vancouver music scene performing around local venues like Redgate, Green Auto, The Fox, and many more. She does acoustic performances, performances with a backing band as well as with her rock/alternative band Princess Avenue. She adores performing, and hops on every opportunity whether in Vancouver or London, Ontario where she attends The University Of Western Ontario for a Media Communications and Creative Art Production double major. 

As a songwriter, Claire is drawn to the stories people usually keep to themselves. She writes in the privacy of her own room without judgment from anyone external. Influenced by contemporary pop’s emphasis on authenticity, she creates music that feels deeply personal while remaining instantly relatable. 

With a growing body of work, a magnetic stage presence, and a clear artistic identity, Claire Patchell is emerging as a fresh voice in Canadian pop, one focused not on following trends, but on heartfelt storytelling one song at a time.
